BACKGROUND

- Teaches residents as Clinical Assistant Professor, University of California, San Francisco
- Extensively trained in laser vision correction during a year-long surgical fellowship at the prestigious Jules Stein Eye Institute at the University of California, Los Angeles
- Provides several forms of refractive surgery, including LASIK, PRK , LASEK and intraocular lens technologies
- Uses the LADARVision and the VISX Star Excimer laser systems
- Offers VISX CustomVue and LADARWave Custom Cornea wavefront treatments
- Offers "all-laser LASIK" since the arrival of Intralase to the San Francisco Bay Area

- Has received several academic and civic honors throughout his academic career. Traveled to Zimbabwe in April 2004 and Nepal in November 2005, volunteering his time to perform corneal transplantation surgeries and teaching about corneal surgery for local practicing and training ophthalmologist.
