"I feel privledged to be able to perform refractive surgery to reduce peoples dependence on glasses and contact lenses. It is astounding how a person’s life can change when they are able to wake up in the morning and see where they are going, as well as to be able to perform their daily activities (home life with children, work, hobbies, recreation) without having to worry about their glasses or contact lenses. I am also very fortunate to be able to participate in a field that is constantly changing and improving in the quality of technology to further help people."
